The world is waiting for its second coming
Nothing has remained the same anymore
Wondering what each one of us is becoming
I saw a tornado rising from the east corner
Moving west with a swirling motion
On its way, it hit the life of every foreigner
The planet earth is buzzing with fear
Since it is carrying the pain from the stories
That every soul is frightened to hear
Stories of losing the dear ones
Has completed the cycle of global suffering
By drifting us apart from our near ones
It harmed not only to health
But also challenged the global economy
By targeting all its wealth
It has weakened the system of education
By shutting down all the schools
And sending the man-power to isolation
Loss of job and loss of friends
Staying home with the house chores
Has set the new social trends
It slowed down the fast-paced life
And put an end to the social-gathering
By staying close to our children and wife
The world is still waiting for its second coming
Longing to be at a piece of land
Where only the nightingales are humming
