What is Life?
At times it gets harder to understand what is life. There are so many distractions around us that we rarely get to know its true meaning. Therefore, being an educator, I try to simplify things, first for myself and then I cascade their simple version to others. Life can be simplified with the help of analogy- a comparison.
Look! All the gadgets have different apps in them to enhance their functionality so to sustain their popularity among the users, so does life. Life too is full of different experiences that improve one’s quality of living. More experiences earn the simplest version of the life.
- Hold on to your life as you are holding your Apple Mobile!
Your phone has several apps to ease your life. Likewise, life also offers you different options to choose from. For instance, if a moment in your life makes you gloomy, you are given a choice to change it into a blissful moment. You are given control over most of your emotions that mostly make your life a mess. To make it work better for you, you can install the positivity and uninstall the negativity from your life too.
· Just like the organized way an apple mobile stores your data in different folders, life is also given to you in an organized form with three different folders for keeping the data of your past, present or future in them. But you upset its settings when you open a wrong folder at a specific time. For instance, opening a past or future folder at present can damage your present data. You must focus on what folder you are dealing with.
· The way you can change the home screen of your Apple mobile, you can do the same in your life. If you set the same unpleasant past as the background of your present, it means you are not making use of all the resources provided to you by life. If you have the same hardships in the present, you always have other features to fix this problem too with a little change in your life settings such as displaying the colorful background of hope or increasing its brightness so as to focus on some of the specific mistakes of your life for rectification.
· In addition to that, life too has front as well as back cameras like an apple mobile. The back camera is normally used to see what life offers us in the form of places, people or things whereas its front camera is used to throw the spotlight on ourselves. In life, interacting with people pulls the extroverts out of our personalities and teaches us life skills because life is not meant to spend in isolation. Similar are the functions of social networking options on an Apple mobile such as Facebook, twitter, Whats app, etc. But at times, the front camera is much needed to meet the introverts within us who would like to have some private hours to know their strengths and weaknesses for better performance in life.
2. Build your life as you are building your website!
Getting free access to building a website shares the features that are common to all viewers but sometimes you have to buy some special features that make your website different from others in order to receive the heavy traffic. Likewise, the one who gets life’s free access has limited or specific incidents to be experienced but the one who pays some price for a living surely undergoes such unique observations that are not experienced by every user. Having a living with a default setting does cost you nothing in return since it is free access. But if an individual has to get a living with his own set pattern, he must pay some heavy price for it. No doubt this special kind of living is not for free. Just the way you create your website, you can design your own life too. There are some common steps that are kept in mind while creating a website.
· For a website, you need to choose a template to drive traffic to your site whereas for life you have to build up a personality to attract the people’s attention towards you. Your audience will stay longer on your life’s website if you are genuinely honest. Certainly, deception can rapidly seek one’s attention but cannot be sustained for a longer period of time.
· The second step is to add content to your website under different headings. You write different chapters of your life depending on different experiences that you come across. You must compromise on the quantity but you mustn’t compromise on the quality of the content that you create for your life’s website. Your audience will love to read your content that is based on your true life’s experiences and findings. No one appreciates plagiarized content.
3. Live your life as if you are walking on a rough road!
Just like a website, life with free access often does not reach your expectations because you rarely get the situations of your choice. You often have to make compromises and live your life on others’ terms and conditions. You make a selection once and then the rest of your decisions are influenced by others. Apparently, it is your life but in reality, you are living others’ life. It is like walking on the road that is tread by many so the path along with a point of destination also becomes quite clear to you before you start your journey.
On the other hand, life with paid access will offer you a feature of your choice. You don’t have to compromise on your selection. Though, it is like walking on Robert Frost’s road that no one has tread before because everyone is not privileged to pay a price for it. But even then there is a special feature on the paid access to the life that could help the users. According to Paulo Coelho, when you want something in life, the whole universe conspires to help you. Similarly, if you are sure enough that you want a living of your choice though tough but with some unique features within; you are ready to take any kind of risk. We know whatever the divine power has chosen for us, is always great.
4. Live your life as if you are sailing a ship through an iceberg!
At times, when we are confronting with the hardships of our life, we experience like sailing our ship through an iceberg. At that moment our problems seem to appear as huge and powerful before us just like an iceberg that has nothing to do except to harm us. No matter how powerless we feel in that moment. But if that moment of yours is filled with faith and we keep sailing our ship through such faith, the divine powers would never let our ship hit by the iceberg. Hardships come to test how firm we can be in life if we are sent some trouble. When we pass that trial, we are given the ultimate blessings. This is how I have perceived life.
